ALL SAINTS, HONINGTON, SUFFOLK
In 2009 we worked with stained glass designer and artist Pippa Blackall who had been commissioned to design and paint a new millennium window for All Saints church in Honington, Suffolk.
The window is a snapshot of life in Honington and successfully depicts aspects of village life and the surrounding area. Within the panels you can see RAF Honington, the local school, the farming community and local wildlife.
The local community welcomed the window as unlike an abstract design, it is easy to understand and requires little or no explanation. Pippa's use of hand-made antique glass really brings the window to life.
